This Illustration inspired poster was for promoting the Homecoming football game at Charleston Southern University. Using the illustration effect for the main background, I wanted to give the event some life and exhilaration. Keeping the main piece in mind which is the football player displayed in the middle, I wanted to use the background to play off of the middle piece. I was inspired heavily by graffiti wall art and made the sketches look playful and expressive. For the type and the photos, I used an outline effect to make it feel like they were big stickers on the wall as well.
